About Tŷ Te Cadair Tea Room
Traditional home made cakes, scrumptious soups, freshly made sandwiches, baguettes & hot lunches. Ingredients locally sourced where possible. Many building materials were sourced locally, including using Welsh slate for the internal floor and external patio area, and the traditional fence at the front of the building. Recycled Welsh slates have been put on the roof. The recycled decorative slate chippings are also sourced locally. The stone for cladding the new extension came from a demolished hotel in Ffestiniog. Timber from the woodland behind the building was also used using traditional methods of harvesting and hauling using Heavy Horses. Eco friendly ground source heating has also been included along with excellent disabled access throughout.Tŷ Te Cadair Tea Room is dog friendly, and is a brilliant place to bring your well-behaved pup!
