The Talyllyn Railway is probably alone in still being able to run its complete original passenger train dating from the 1860s, and invites you to enjoy a conducted tour featuring this unique train, travelling in the original coaches behind an original locomotive.
The train will depart from Tywyn Wharf Station at 11:15 a.m. It will make photographic stops, and allows time for lunch, for forest walks or more photography. The return to Tywyn Wharf will be by 3.12 p.m where you will be served a cream tea in King’s Licensed Cafe and taken on a guided tour of the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum.
The trains run on certain Thursdays in the year, on the dates shown above. Available for hire at other times, please contact us for details.
